Bill Roderick Sr. Custom Bronze Portrait Statue

Life-size Custom Bronze Sculpture for Fashion Plaza. Salt Lake City, UT

The Bill Roderick Sr. Life size bronze statue is the centerpiece of the Fashion Plaza Shopping Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Bill Roderick Sr. was an influential businessman who operated Utoco Service Stations throughout the Salt Lake Valley after World War II.   He is the founder of Roderick Enterprises. The Shopping Center is located on the site of Roderick’s first Utoco Service Station. Utah Artists Lena Toritch and Richard Young sculpted the portrait monument with Roderick standing beside a classic old fashioned gas pump known as a Wayne 70. His papers and briefcase are nearby. Roderick’s family members say the bronze statue “bears an uncanny resemblance to him.”
